I am focusing on Malaysian culture for my concentration. So this month I did 3 pieces, and I went in a different direction from my other ones. I tried to emphasize color in certain parts of my pieces. I completely forgot to email the pieces to myself so these are just black and white pictures of what two of my pieces were based off of.
I remember the two pieces you did from school and I think they were definitely an improvement from the first critique. They colors in the one with the chicken worked very well together and i don't necessarily think you need the transparent paper because it seemed to just cover up the work you did underneath and wasn't transparent enough to see through. I think that the boat picture could use some more contrast in the shadow of the boat.
